This was my 2nd visit to Paw House Inn and it's still wonderful. A super cozy, dog friendly space to enjoy a winter getaway. Mitch and Jen are wonderful. The rooms are clean, the Dog Park is extremely large and a wonderful space to play off - leash with your pup and their homemade breakfast is delicious. Highly recommend a visit. It's 30 min from Killington, Pico and Okemo so if you want to ski and bring your dog this is a great spot. I'm not a skier but I have been here in the fall and winter. Plenty of dog friendly hiking, breweries and more! I own an instagram account for dog friendly travel and we a list of spots you can visit with your pup while staying at Paw House Inn. Additionally, Mitch and Jen have built an on site kennel so if you chose to leave the property without your pup you can leave your pup in the kennel in their own pen and there is someone on the grounds who can check in and monitor the pups. The only place where the humans get treated as well as the dogs (and that’s saying a lot). Usually, "dog-friendly" means you have to compromise on the human experience. At The Paw House Inn, you don’t choose—you get the best of both worlds. My partner and I came up for a ski trip to Killington, and honestly, the service we received rivaled any luxury hotel we’ve stayed at, while Taco (our dog) got treated like royalty. Service for the Whole Pack: Mitch and Jeff are the dream team. Mitch’s communication was flawless—he navigated us through some iffy weather on arrival day and acted as a top-tier concierge for the rest of the trip. He didn't just point us to a map; he gave us a locals-only tip for a public golf course that allows cross-country skiing. It was the highlight of our trip—fresh tracks for us, and off-leash freedom for Taco. Jeff, meanwhile, made us feel incredibly welcome (and made Taco his best friend with his lightning-fast treat distribution). It’s rare to find hosts who care just as much about the quality of the human’s dinner (sending us to Sweet Caroline’s and Roots—both huge hits) as they do about the dog’s happiness. The Stay: Breakfast was delicious every morning, but the real highlight was that Taco could sit right there with us. It was a lovely reminder of home—he never leaves our side until breakfast is over, and being able to keep that routine here made the trip feel incredibly special. The boarding facility is pristine, warm, and secure. We got video updates of Taco playing with his new friends (shoutout to Diggins, Blu, and Percy!) while we were skiing Killington, which let us actually relax and enjoy the slopes. The Verdict: If you want a vacation where you feel pampered and your dog has the time of his life, this is it. We’re already planning our return.

We had a wonderful stay with our two dogs at The Paw House Inn this weekend! We were greeted with a tour of the Inn, property, and our room upon arrival. It felt cozy and comfortable and with the custom dog bed, both humans and pups settled right in! The rooms were super clean and had all the comforts of home. The dog park is spacious and has a fun agility course. Breakfast was such a special part of each day! Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but it’s a fun time to meet new people (and dogs of course!). The staff is so incredibly kind and it’s so clear that each person there loves what they do. We got great suggestions both ahead of time and from the owner during breakfast for our time there which made exploring the area a blast. The perfect place for a classic Vermont vacation that you can enjoy with your beloved pups!

We had an amazing time here. All the staff were so kind and friendly and our dog loved them too. Our stay at the Chase Suite was filled with cute Christmas decorations and the puppy had no problems feeling right at home getting cozy on the couch. There's plenty of dog friendly places to visit around town even in winter and we plan to come back when it's warmer to take full advantage of all the outside activities.

I was very lucky to have the opportunity to stay at The Paw House Inn this past weekend. First of all, the hosts are wonderful people (as are their adorable fur-babies)! They were so engaging and made us feel welcome right from the get-go — especially Diggins! The Inn itself is a cozy historic home, with beautiful grounds, in a prime location. The rooms are warm, inviting, and pristinely clean. The facilities cater to every dog’s dream from fun games, play areas, beds, and treats. Not only that, we were provided with an excellent itinerary of all the surrounding local gems, from delicious restaurants, vibrant farms and breweries, to friendly, locally owned shops. All this surrounded by the stunning beauty of Vermont. I can’t wait to come back to unwind.

We had such a fun stay at the Paw House Inn! Our host Emily was super friendly and you could tell she’s passionate about sharing her dog friendly cottages. Our room, the “Stanley” suite was clean and cozy with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was home made and delicious and our pup Bronco was included in all our activities. We would happily stay again when passing through the area.

We had a lovely stay at Paw House Inn! The inn itself is charming, the bed very comfortable. The dog themed touches on the interior are well thought out. Mitch & staff were kind and welcoming. Our dog enjoyed her supervised play while we headed out for a ski day, and we had peace of mind knowing she was taken care of throughout the day. True “Vermont country inn” experience & a very dog friendly stay!
